Be That Business Newsletter #21: Free Small Business Centers Have So Much to Offer!

For this month's resources I am highlighting all the fabulous and free resources of Small Business Centres!

1. Small Business Centres: Have you checked out your local small business centre yet? They have so many free resources and events to offer, plus access and info on grants and subsidies for your business! Don't feel limited to just your own local business centre, there may be another nearby that also has great resources. I have three fabulous centres within an hour in each direction of me! Leeds Grenville Small Business Centre in Brockville, Kingston Economic Development Corporation, and Small Business Advisory Centre in Smith's Falls. And the Business Hack here is:  With so many events over zoom now, don't feel limited to just your closest centre! I just had the pleasure of attending "Bookkeeping 101: What Business Owners Need to Know" online with the Small Business Advisory Centre in Smiths Falls. Two hours jam packed with all the good info that is a must for business owners to know, for FREE! They host this every quarter, so feel free to reach out to them to find out when the next one is, and zoom on over!

2. Small Business Centres Ontario Events: All of the Ontario Small Business Centres are part of the Small Business Centres Ontario Network. If you are not in Ontario, your province or territory will also have a similar network. But feel free to check out the Ontario site, as many of their events are online now, and are applicable to all provinces and territories! They have live workshops up for learning about Loyalty Programs, Cash Flow Forcasting, Exporting abroad, Google ads, and so much more! Check out all of these workshops here.

3. Small Business Centres Ontario Courses: And they have a multitude of free online courses too! Even if you are not in Ontario, these courses are Federally applicable, and free! Business plans, Government regulations, Do You Need Insurance?, Market Research. Plus, they are available in French! Learning is earning!
