Three Resources from Newsletter #2:

1. Wealthsimple Tax - Ah February… the month we start to get ready to file our personal income taxes! There are a lot of options out there to get your income taxes filed, either DIY or by a professional income tax provider. If your situation is complex, a professional income tax provider can be a great resource! But if you file your own taxes, and haven’t heard yet about Wealth Simple Tax , now’s a great time to check it out! Originally Simple Tax, they still offer the same great “pay what you want” Simple Tax online filing! I’ve been using them for the past few years for my family’s taxes!

2. Dext – This is your year to #BeThatBusiness that is efficient and organized, and Dext is a great resource for every business’s e-hacks and tech stack! Dext is one of the Paperwork Management Apps that is out there, and it’s my favorite! Not only can you snap a pic and upload your receipt, but you can also forward bills, and it ‘fetches’ your utility bills, cell phone bills, bank statements, credit card statements, even your Amazon invoices!!! BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! It also has document reading capabilities that can auto-populate data about that document so your can sort, find, AND EVEN SYNC to your bookkeeping software! It even attaches the document to the entry in the software! It will create the entry for you into your bookkeeping software, and even let you know if the entry is already entered! I think it’s the best thing since sliced bread, and they don’t even have an affiliate program that pays me to say that! (Sadly! LOL!). 3. BDC.ca – Have you visited BDC’s website before? BDC, the “Business Development Bank of Canada,” is the financial institution devoted to Canadian Entrepreneurs. But their website is more than just a banking website! Their website is flush with tools and courses to help your business thrive! Here’s three great places on their site for you to dig in deeper:
